About Dr. Linda Mack
A resident of New Jersey since 1988, Dr. Mack completed her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology through the University of Rochester and her graduate degree through Indiana State University. She completed her clinical internship at the VA Hospital of East Orange, NJ.
Dr. Mack has an extensive background in the provision of both inpatient as well as outpatient services, though has been practicing exclusively in an outpatient setting since 1998.
Clients often describe Dr. Mack’s approach as interactive and supportive. While trained primarily in cognitive-behavioral theory, Dr. Mack has found that an individualized approach to treatment is more beneficial to the client, and she tailors a treatment plan at the conclusion of a client’s first session that reflects the goals and aspirations of that particular person. Dr. Mack’s office is a reflection of her warm, engaging and personal therapeutic style. It is an environment where clients feel comfortable and safe in challenging obstacles to personal growth.
